BT AR-AFFF 1% x 1% C6 is a highly efficient, multi-purpose alcohol-resistant aqueous film-forming foam concentrate designed for superior fire suppression performance. This advanced 1×1 foam formulation combines rapid film-forming action with alcohol-resistant properties, making it suitable for a wide range of fire hazards. The foam spreads quickly across the fuel surface, forming an effective aqueous film that rapidly suppresses flames and controls the release of flammable vapours. Its excellent film-forming capability makes it highly effective against hydrocarbon fuel fires, while the specially formulated polymer additives provide strong resistance and protection against polar solvent and water-miscible fuel fires.
BT AR-AFFF 1% x 1% C6 is specifically developed for use on hydrocarbon fuels such as gasoline, diesel, and kerosene at a 1% proportioning rate. It is equally effective on polar solvents and water-miscible liquids including alcohols, ketones, esters, and similar chemicals, also at a 1% proportioning rate. This versatility makes it an ideal firefighting solution for industrial, petrochemical, aviation, and high-risk applications.

  • Excellent wetting characteristics when used in combating Class A fuel fires.

  • Suitable for use with carbon steel, fiberglass, polyethlene or stainless steel. BT AR-AFFF 1% x 1% C6 is not compatible with galvanised pipe or fittings in an undiluted form.

  • Suitable for use with all siliconized dry chemical extinguishing agents.

  • Recommended minimum application rate on hydrocarbon fuels is 0.10gpm/ft²

  • Recommended minimum application rate on polar solvent fuels is 0.10 gpm/ft³ (Some Polar type fuel fires may be successfully extinguished with a lower application rate).

  • Compatible with other 1% x 1% AR-AFFF concentrates of equal quality.
