BT AFFF 1% C6
BT AFFF 1% C6 is a high-performance aqueous film-forming foam specially developed for effectively extinguishing fires involving non-polar hydrocarbon fuels. Designed for use at the recommended concentration, it is compatible with a wide range of proportioning and discharge systems, making it a reliable choice for industrial and fire safety applications. This advanced foam concentrate delivers rapid fire suppression by forming a thin aqueous film over the fuel surface. The film helps control the release of flammable vapours, while the foam blanket cuts off the oxygen supply to the fire, quickly extinguishing flames and reducing the risk of re-ignition. In addition, the water content within the foam provides an effective cooling action for enhanced fire control. The superior performance of BT AFFF 1% C6 is achieved through specially formulated fluorocarbon surfactants that lower the surface tension of the foam solution, allowing the aqueous film to spread efficiently across the fuel surface. Apart from hydrocarbon fuel fires, BT AFFF 1% C6 also offers excellent wetting and penetrating properties for Class A fire hazards. This makes it highly effective for tackling deep-seated fires involving materials such as wood, paper, rubber, and other ordinary combustibles.
BT AFFF 1% C6 will provide quality protection for a wide range of hazardous areas such as:
- Crash Fire Rescue
- Defense Facilities
- Storage tanks (non-polar solvent type fuels only)
- Truck/Rail loading or unloading facilities
- Processing/Storage facilities
- Docks/Marine tankers
- Flammable liquid containment areas
- Mobile equipment
