BT-PSP-1

The BT-PSP-1 Supervisory Switch is a special-purpose monitoring device designed for applications where conventional valve supervisory switches cannot be used, such as non-rising stem gate valves. During normal operation, the switch remains in the set position. When the valve handwheel is turned, the internal plug is withdrawn from the switch body, causing the normally open contacts to close and send a supervisory signal to the fire alarm monitoring system. Once operated, the plug cannot be reset until the reset cover is removed using the special hex key supplied with the switch. This key should be retained by the building owner or the person responsible for the fire protection system.
