BT 3% Fluoroprotein

BT FP 3% is a high-performance Fluoro Protein Foam Concentrate formulated with advanced fluorinated surfactants blended into a specially developed protein foam base. This unique formulation produces a highly stable and fluid foam blanket that spreads rapidly across burning hydrocarbon fuel surfaces for quick and effective fire suppression. The fluorinated surfactants provide excellent hydrocarbon repellency, reducing the absorption of burning fuel particles into the foam during firefighting operations. This enhances foam stability and improves extinguishing efficiency on hydrocarbon fuel fires. After extinguishment, the durable foam blanket offers excellent resistance against re-ignition and provides superior burn- back protection, even if hidden or inaccessible pockets of fire remain. BT FP 3% is designed for use at a 3% proportioning rate with both fresh water and seawater. It can also be prepared and stored as a 3% premixed solution using fresh or potable water. The correct mixing ratio consists of 3 parts foam concentrate to 97 parts water, ensuring reliable and consistent firefighting performance.
